Race Information

Race Date: July 19-20, 2014

100 Mile Description

The Vermont 100 is limited to the first 300 entrants. 350 initial registrants will be taken and after that a waiting list. If enough initial registrants drop from the race, we will contact those on the wait list.

100k Description

Details for the 100k race. We will accept 75 entrants. In the event that this distance fills, we will take a waiting list. Being registered for the 100 K does not mean that you may switch to the 100 Mile. You will still need to enter the 100 Mile wait list if you wish to move events.

Go to Registration for information on registering for either the 100 Mile or 100k race.

Service Requirement

Each participant is required to document 8 hours of qualified service. The requirement may be met in the US or abroad at ANY ultra event of 50K or longer. Officially recognized trail maintenance of any 50K or longer race or local, state or national trail system that encourages recreation is also ALWAYS accepted. The VT 100 will usually accept time volunteered to youth running teams or clubs and any program that directly engages folks with disabilities in recreation.

The service must take place during the 14 months before the race. Please use the VT 100 Service Requirement Form, have it signed by an authorized person at the event where you volunteer and either mail or scan and e-mail it not later than June 15th to the VT 100 (addresses on the form). The VT 100 may fill early so you may enter to secure a place in the race and follow up with the service requirement form before the deadline. In the event that you are unable or unwilling to meet this requirement, you may instead pay a $150 service buyout fee. This can be paid on our online registration site or by check. The fee is due by the same June 15th deadline.
